Being a full-time mother is one of the highest salaried jobs... since the payment is pure love. |
Like most people, sometimes I take advice and others I don't. Sometimes I listen to adults, others I don't. I think it is every kids job to find a balance between learning from adults and learning from one's own mistakes.
In my life, there were times I should have listened to the adults around me. One example of a time like that is.....When my mother told me to make sure I always have money in my pockets so I could travel on the train's to avoid the cops but , I ain't listen. One time on the 4th of July my friends and I hopped the train , and we got stopped by the police officer because, he seen us on the camera but, we ain't know their was a camera looking at us until we hopped the train. So the police officer told us to follow him, don't get me wrong but, my friends and I was thinking about running but, we said no because, it would of make everything even worst so we said for get it we just going to follow the police officer orders and that's what we did. Then the police officer called out parent's and, our parent's was so ma at us but, then after the police officer called all our parent's he was talking to us and saying that "We Could Of Asked Somebody For A Extra Swipe Instead Of Hopping The Turn Style". Then we left the precent to go straight home like our parent's told the police officer to tell us, so my friends and I was going home and we was talking about how it was funny that we all thought about running from the police officer but, we all said that "The Police Officer Wouldn't Be Able To Catch All Of Us , Because The Police Officer Was To Fat To Catch Us". But, when I got home my mother said "Why Didn't You Ask Me For Money So The Police Wouldn't Stop You ! " I said "Mommy It's Not My Fault You Wasn't Even Here So How Was I Suppose To Get Money From You?" she said "But Still You Should Of Called Me So She Could Give Me Money! " I said "What Ever ! ". Then I walked out my house and, then my mother opened the door and, said "Maria, Come Back And, Get Money"! I said "No!" then I walked on the elevator and, when I got downstairs in front of my building I reached down in my pocket I found money and, I said where did this come from then I looked up my mother said "Your Welcome!" after that I walked away with a smile on my face. That's why I love my mother because she always know what to do to keep her kids happy.
